Candidates must be a citizen of the United States.
Candidates must be both domiciled within the corporate limits and a qualified elector of the Town of Highland Beach, Palm Beach County, State of Florida for a period of not less than one year immediately preceding the beginning of the qualification period.
Candidates must retain such qualifications during their tenure and occupancy of said office.
How to Become a Candidate
Persons interested in becoming a candidate must first file an Appointment of Campaign Treasurer and Designation of Depository for Candidates with the Town Clerk prior to opening a campaign account.
Qualifying Information
Candidates must file qualification papers and pay a qualifying fee no earlier than Noon, Tuesday, November 08, 2022 and no later than Noon, Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
Qualifying Officer
The Town Clerk is the qualifying officer and Supervisor of Election for the Town of Highland Beach Municipal Elections.
Persons interested in running for the office of Mayor-Commissioner, Vice Mayor-Commissioner or Commissioner must schedule an appointment with the Town Clerk’s Office.
