Town Hall CLOSED 2-19-24

Please be advised that the Town Hall Complex, including the Library, Post Office, Building Department, and all administrative offices will be closed on Monday, February 19^th, in observance of Presidents' Day.

SR-A1A RRR Project Public Meeting 3-7-24

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be holding a pre-construction meeting regarding the SR-A1A RRR (Resurfacing, Restoration and Rehabilitation) Project on March 7^th. There will be a virtual session held from 5-6 PM and an in-person meeting from 6-7 PM.

Officer of the Year

Congratulations to Officer Paul Shersty on being presented the 2023 Highland Beach PD Officer of the Year award. We are proud to have an officer with your integrity and dedication protecting and serving our Three Miles of Paradise!

Referendum Questions

After extensive and thoughtful deliberation, the Town Commission has presented three referendum questions to residents for the 2024 Municipal General Election:

1. Financing a Sanitary Sewer Lining Rehabilitation Project

2. Raising the Current Funding Limitation

3. Ability to Designate Election Canvassing Duties to Palm Beach County

Municipal General Election Info

The Highland Beach General (Nonpartisan) Election will be held on Tuesday, March 19^th, 2024, which runs current with the Presidential Preference Primary Election (PPP) in the Library Community Room located at 3618 S Ocean Blvd. 

Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Wendy Sartory Link provides registered voters with three (3) different ways to cast their vote:

1. Vote By Mail (Absentee)
2. Vote Early (in person)
3. Vote on Election Day (in person)

Town Board Vacancies

Board of Adjustment & Appeals - One (1) vacancy for an unexpired term ending September 2024 and one (1) upcoming vacancy for a three-year term.

Natural Resources Preservation Advisory Board - Upcoming vacancies for three-year terms.
