Town Hall Complex CLOSED 3-19-24

Please be advised that the Town Hall complex, including the Library, Post Office, Building Department, and all administrative offices will be closed on Tuesday, March 19th for the 2024 Municipal General Election.

Municipal General Election Info

The Highland Beach General (Nonpartisan) Election will be held on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, which runs current with the Presidential Preference Primary Election (PPP) in the Library Community Room located at 3618 S Ocean Blvd. 

Supervisor of Elections Wendy Sartory Link provides registered voters with three (3) different ways to cast their vote for the March 19th Elections:

  1. Vote By Mail (Absentee) 
    (The deadline to return your Vote-by-Mail ballot to Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Main Office is 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024.)  
  2. Vote Early (in person)
  3. Vote on Election Day (in person)


Early Voting: This year since the Highland Beach General Election runs current with the Presidential Preference Primary (PPP) election, early voting is available for registered voters in Palm Beach County from March 9th through March 17th. Early voting allows you the opportunity to cast your vote at any early voting site in Palm Beach County. Below are several early voting sites near Highland Beach:

Spanish River Library, 1501 NW Spanish River Blvd., Boca Raton
Boca Raton Downtown Library, 400 NW 2nd Ave., Boca Raton
Delray Beach Community Center, 50 NW 1st Ave., Delray Beach

Referendum Questions

After extensive and thoughtful deliberation, the Town Commission has presented three referendum questions to residents for the 2024 Municipal General Election:

1. Financing a Sanitary Sewer Lining Rehabilitation Project

2. Raising the Current Funding Limitation

3. Ability to Designate Election Canvassing Duties to Palm Beach County
