Town Hall Complex Closed for General Election
Tuesday, November 5th
Please be advised that the Town Hall Complex, including the Library, Building Department, and all Administrative Offices will be CLOSED on Tuesday, November 5th, for the General Election. The polling location in the Highland Beach Library will open at 7:00 am and close at 7:00 pm.

SR-A1A RRR Project Update
According to FDOT, the project is 37% complete and on track to be finished within the stated timeline of summer 2025. The project improvements include milling and resurfacing the existing roadway to enhance infrastructure resilience, traffic flow, and safety, widening the roadway in each direction to provide five-foot bicycle lanes to enhance bicyclist safety, modifying swales to improve drainage, and upgrading signing and pavement markings to meet current standards for motorist and pedestrian safety. Beachfront Property Evaluation Presentation

US Flag Retirement Ceremony
Father Horgan and St. Lucy Catholic Church will be holding a US flag retirement ceremony on Sunday, November 10th in honor of Veterans Day. All members of the community are welcome to join.
Sharing Your History of Highland Beach
Calling all Highland Beach historians! As part of the Town's 75th Anniversary Holiday Celebration, the Library will be showcasing a "History of Highland Beach" exhibit this holiday season. No one knows this Town better than you, our residents, which is why we need your help in telling our history! If you have any historical items such as news articles, photographs, or any other Highland Beach memorabilia that you would like to share, please reach out to Library Director Lois Albertson at lalbertson@highlandbeach.us or 561-278-5455.
Post Office Now Closed
Please be advised that the Highland Beach Community Post Office has officially closed. This decision came as a result of the United States Postal Service (USPS) discontinuing the acceptance of credit card transactions and placing strict parameters on money collection and reporting for cash transactions. Code Enforcement Board - One (1) vacancy for an unexpired term ending December 2024 and one (1) vacancy for an unexpired term ending May 2025.
