Sanitary Sewer Relining Begins Next Month

The town wide sanitary sewer relining project, approved by referendum during the 2024 Municipal General Election, is scheduled to begin on September 15^th and is expected to take 60 days to complete.

The contractor will begin by relining the side streets while FDOT completes the final stages of their SR-A1A RRR Project. Once the side streets are finished, the Town’s stretch of SR-A1A will be relined, with bypass pumping and MOT being provided to minimize any disruptions to daily life.

Please be on the lookout for additional communications in the coming weeks, including informational door hangers that will outline any temporary water usage limitations and/or restrictions. While there may be some temporary inconveniences, this minimally invasive project will modernize a critical piece of the Town’s infrastructure and extend the lifespan of our sanitary sewer system by another 50 years.
