TOWN OF HIGHLAND BEACH
CHARTER REVIEW BOARD — VACANCIES

 

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Town Commission of the Town of Highland Beach is accepting applications for its Charter Review Board.  The Charter Review Board shall review the municipal charter and make recommendations to the Town Commission regarding amendments to the Charter deemed necessary.  The Town Commission appoints a Charter Review Board every ten years to study the Charter, and upon appointment, the members shall serve for 120 days.

Qualifications: Individuals interested in serving on the Charter Review Board must be domiciled within the corporate limits and a qualified, registered elector of the Town of Highland Beach, State of Florida.  The individual shall be civic minded with an understanding of the Town’s operations, municipal government, and local ordinances.  Individuals shall be available to serve on the Board from May through August of 2021.

Residents interested in serving on the Charter Review Committee can submit a Board Application to the Highland Beach Town Clerk’s Office no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021.  Board Applications are available online at https://highlandbeach.us/advisory-boards-committees or the Town Clerk’s Office at 3614 South Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach, Florida 33487
