The Coastal Resilience Partnership of Southeast Palm Beach County (CRP) invites you to join a free webinar with the CLEO Institute, a Miami-based leader in climate change education. This webinar will introduce citizens and community leaders to the basics of climate science followed by information on how climate change impacts us here in Palm Beach County, how local communities are preparing, and how you and your organization can take action to address the climate crisis.

The webinar will also introduce and give you a chance to hear directly from the CRP, a joint partnership between the municipalities of Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Highland Beach, Lake Worth Beach, Lantana, Ocean Ridge, and Palm Beach County’s Office of Resilience. Through collaborative effort, the group is working to assess the region’s vulnerability and plan adaptive measures to withstand current and future effects of climate change. The CRP has received two grants from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and expects to publish the results of the joint climate change vulnerability assessment by spring of 2021.
