The Town of Highland Beach will not have a Municipal General Election on March 17, 2020 because candidates listed below ran unopposed, are deemed to have voted for himself, and are qualified for the Office of Town Commissioner.   Congratulations to each candidate!

Although Highland Beach will not have an election, the Presidential Preference Primary (PPP) election will be held on March 17, 2020. Early Voting will begin Saturday, March 7th to Sunday, March 15th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at various locations throughout Palm Beach County. Next Municipal General Election

According to the Town Charter, Highland Beach Municipal General Elections are held the second Tuesday in March.  The Town Commission is composed of a Mayor-Commissioner, Vice Mayor-Commissioner and three Commissioners, all which are elected at large.  Each Commissioner serve a three-year term and may serve two successive elected full terms.

Highland Beach Municipal General Election will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. The offices up for election are:

  • Vice Mayor-Commissioner for a three (3) year term end March 2024
  • Commissioner for a three (3) year term ending March 2024
