Municipal General Election Information

The Town of Highland Beach will not have a Municipal General Election on March 09, 2021.  Each candidate listed below ran unopposed, are deemed to have voted for himself, and are qualified for the Office of Town Commissioner.   Congratulations to Commissioner Gossett-Seidman and Ms. Natasha Moore!

Next Municipal General Election

According to the Town Charter, Highland Beach Municipal General Elections (nonpartisan) are held the second Tuesday in March. The Town Commission is composed of a Mayor-Commissioner, Vice Mayor-Commissioner and three Commissioners, all which are elected at large. Each Commissioner serve a three-year term and may serve two successive elected full terms.

  • The Town of Highland Beach will hold its General Election on Tuesday, March 08, 2022, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  The purpose is to elect a Commissioner for a three-year term ending March of 2025

To be eligible for election the individual must be a United States citizen, and a qualified elector of the Town of Highland Beach, State of Florida for a period of not less than one year immediately preceding the beginning of the qualifying period.

The first day of qualifying begins Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 12 noon and the last day of qualifying ends Tuesday, December 07, 2021, at 12 noon.  Individuals seeking to qualify as a candidate for the General Election must file qualifications papers in person with the Town Clerk at Highland Beach Town Hall, 3614 South Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach, Florida, during regular office hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  For additional information, please contact Town Clerk Lanelda Gaskins at 561-278-4548.

Registered voters in Precincts 4128, 4129 and 4156 are qualified to vote in this election.  To qualify as a registered voter for this General Election you must register with the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Election by February 07, 2022.

SE NOTIFICA QUE el Pueblo de Highland Beach va a tener la Elección General el Martes, 08 de Marzo, 2021, entre las horas de 7:00 a.m. y 7:00 p.m. para elegir Miembros del Concejo para un Comisionado con un termino de tres años terminándose en Marzo del año 2025.  Para ser elegible para la elección la persona tiene que ser ciudadano de los Estados Unidos, y elector calificado del Pueblo de Highland Beach, Estado de la Florida por un periodo de no menos de un año inmediatamente antes del comienzo del periodo de quilificación.

El primer día de cualificación empieza el Martes, 30 de Noviembre, 2021, durante el periodo desde las 12:00 p.m. (Mediodía) y termina el Martes, 07 de Diciembre, 2021, a las 12:00 p.m. (Mediodía).  Las personas que deseen calificar como candidato para la Elección General deben obtener un paquete de calificación en la Oficina de la Secretaria del Pueblo de Highland Beach, localizado en el 3614 South Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach, Florida, durante las horas de oficina regulares de Lunes a Viernes, 8:30 a.m. hasta las 4:30 p.m.  Para más información, por favor debe contactar a la Secretaria del Pueblo Lanelda Gaskins al teléfono 561-278-4548.
