SR-A1A RRR Project Update
The contractor is scheduled to perform driveway work along SR-A1A from Monday through Thursday. In consideration of the approaching Labor Day weekend, the contractor has been granted permission to work on Friday, August 29th, and Saturday, August 30th, without requiring lane closures. The lane closure and scope of work to be performed are noted below.
Traffic Impacts:
- The northbound lane of SR A1A/S Ocean Boulevard from 4801 S. Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach to 1708 S. Ocean Boulevard, Delray Beach, will be closed intermittently, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, for paver and asphalt driveway work. The contractor will begin work at the south end of the project limits and head north. Flaggers will direct traffic as needed.
- The southbound lane of SR A1A/S Ocean Boulevard from 4801 S. Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach to 1708 S. The My Safe Florida Condo Pilot Program is offering grant assistance to eligible coastal condominiums to help strengthen properties against storm damage and may also help reduce insurance premiums.
