SR-A1A RRR Project Update

The contractor will continue working on regrading, irrigation, sodding, and pavers throughout the project area Monday 9/08 through Friday 9/12. Regrading, irrigation, and sodding will take place along the southbound side of the roadway, with the contractor starting at the northern end of the project limits and progressing southward. Meanwhile, paver driveway work will be conducted along the northbound side of the roadway, moving from south to north. Flaggers will be used as needed.

Traffic Impacts: 

• The southbound lane of SR A1A/South Ocean Boulevard from 1708 S Ocean Boulevard, Delray Beach to 4801 S Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach, will be closed intermittently, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, for the regrading of swales, irrigation, and sodding work. Flaggers will direct traffic as needed.
• The northbound lane of SR A1A/South Ocean Boulevard from 4801 S Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach to 1708 S Ocean Boulevard, Delray Beach, will be closed intermittently, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, for work on paver driveways.

On Tuesday, September 9 at 5:30 pm, we are screening the heartwarming comedy Champions. Woody Harrelson stars as a basketball coach who leads a team facing challenges both on and off the court.

The Friends of the Library invite you to the Artists’ Reception for our new exhibit, “Colorful Paintings,” on Thursday, September 11 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
