The Town of Highland Beach invites you to our upcoming “Homecoming” event on Thursday, October 23rd, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at St. Lucy Catholic Church.
We extend our sincere thanks to Father Horgan and St. Lucy Catholic Church for their continued generosity and partnership, which allows us to host events that bring our community together. We’re excited to introduce new additions to our lineup of food trucks—so be sure to come hungry and don’t miss out!

SR-A1A RRR Project and Traffic Update
The Town understands and continues to share residents' concerns and frustrations regarding the persistent flooding and drainage issues impacting the right of way along SR-A1A throughout Highland Beach. Town leadership and staff will continue to press FDOT to deliver on the commitments they made during the design phase and at public input meetings.
Please rest assured that the Town is diligently and proactively engaging FDOT to ensure that the interests of Highland Beach remain at the forefront of their work. We will continue to advocate strongly on behalf of our residents until these drainage issues are properly resolved.
Traffic Update:
- The southbound lane of S.R. A1A/South Ocean Boulevard from 1708 S Ocean Boulevard, Delray Beach to 4801 S Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach, will be closed intermittently, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, for work on regrading of swales, irrigation, sodding, paver, and sidewalk work. Flaggers will direct traffic as needed.
- The northbound lane of S.R. A1A/South Ocean Boulevard from 4801 S Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach to 1708 S Ocean Boulevard, Delray Beach, will be closed intermittently, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, for work on regrading of swales, irrigation, sodding, and paver driveways.
